Last year The Greater Louisville Project published the Education Pipeline, a snapshot in time of what happens to the approximately 10,100 children born in a typical year in Jefferson County, based on data compiled from many sources related to high school completion and graduation and retention rates in postsecondary schools in the region.

The Pipeline attracted a lot of attention – some of its numbers were startling and represented a wakeup call about the need to raise attainment rates across the Pipeline.

This week The Greater Louisville Project will begin adding new data and insights into that picture, posting additional information about each segment of the Pipeline, from birth through postsecondary graduation, on its website. Click on the icons on individual segments of the Pipeline to learn more about each stage of childhood development and education.

Please share this easy-to-use tool with others and spread the word about the importance of raising education attainment in our region.
