As Louisville and its neighboring counties move forward on the work to devise a new economic development strategy for this decade, The Greater Louisville Project will offer data, ideas, and insights anchored in the Competitive City Agenda on which its work is based.

Using both Facebook and Twitter, the GLP will post relevant items with the goal of broadening the discussion and circle of knowledge throughout the community to build ownership and cohesion behind the new strategy as it emerges.

The first batch of Facebook posts come from the 2009 IdeaFestival held in Louisville late last month, focused on innovation. Others will come from the 2009 GLIDE trip this week put together by Greater Louisville Inc. as a visioning exercise that will kick off development of the new strategy.
